Daimler Truck launches RIZON medium-duty electric trucks in the US

In early May, Germany-based Daimler Truck introduced its new RIZON brand of electric trucks to the US market at the Advanced Clean Expo in Anaheim, California. The first available RIZON models will be the e18L, e16L and e16M, which are class 4 and 5 medium-duty trucks ranging from 15,995 to 17,995 pounds in gross vehicle weight. Daimler claims a range of 110 to 160 miles for the L size variant with three battery packs, and 75 to 110 miles for the M size variant with two battery packs.
