Lightning eMotors joins with GM to electrify medium-duty trucks

Commercial vehicle OEM Lightning eMotors (NYSE: ZEV) has become the first General Motors Specialty Vehicle Manufacturer (SVM) to provide fully electric Class 3 through Class 6 commercial vehicles. General Motors Fleet provides a variety of platforms designed for qualified SVMs to use to upfit vehicles. Under the recent agreement, Lightning eMotors will electrify popular medium-duty truck platforms for applications such as school buses, shuttle buses, delivery trucks, work trucks and more.
