'Lost decade for nature': UK accused of missing majority of UN biodiversity targets

Conversation charity has called on UK government to enact legally binding targets for biodiversity, warning that the UK’s current performance on protecting loss of wildlife is even worse than government’s already-poor self-assessment. The group claims that the country has failed on 17 targets, with progress going backwards in six areas.
