SunPower to Cut 3% of Global Workforce

SunPower will eliminate between 145 and 160 jobs, representing about 3 percent of its global team, in the next 12 to 18 months, according to a Monday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The layoffs — part of a restructuring plan — come after California-based SunPower announced in November that it would spin off most of its manufacturing operations to form Maxeon Solar Technologies, based in Singapore.

Electrify America chargers coming to Bank of America financial centers

Electrify America will install 40 charging stations with a total of 140 chargers, at Bank of America financial centers in California, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Oregon, Washington, Virginia, and Massachusetts. The chargers will offer power levels ranging from 150 kW to 350 kW. The new stations are expected to be operational by the end of 2020.
