The city of St. Louis, Missouri fleet plans to deploy 18 electric buses on the city’s busiest routes. Charging infrastructure for the 60-seat New Flyer buses will be provided by Swiss/Swedish electronics giant ABB. Using a specially designed testing form factor, StoreDot’s engineers have exceeded 1,200 cycles with cells that are charged to 80% of capacity in 15 minutes, then discharged for one hour. The company says the results were achieved with a specific energy of 300 Wh/kg (energy density of 680 Wh/liter) in real-world conditions at room temperature and with no additional pressur
