2,100-passenger electric Ro-Pax ferry ship features powertrain from Wärtsilä and batteries from Corvus

Australian shipbuilder Incat Tasmania is building a gigantic new battery-electric ferry. The lightweight catamaran has an overall length of 130 meters and a capacity of 2,100 passengers and 225 vehicles. Norwegian maritime industry battery provider Corvus Energy will supply the battery systems to Wärtsilä.

Solaris to supply Bucharest, Romania with 100 electric trolleybuses

The vehicles are expected to arrive in Bucharest at the end of 2024. Each 12-meter trolleybus is to be powered by a 160 kW traction motor and fitted with a 60 kWh Solaris High Power battery pack, enabling them to cover distances of up to 20 km at a time without connection to overhead wires.
