Industrial adhesive manufacturer DELO has introduced a structural adhesive for batteries used in hybrid vehicles. DELO says its new adhesive, which is currently being used by an automotive supplier in the ramp-up phase of production, is suitable for low-voltage batteries used in hybrid vehicles, e-bikes and e-scooters.

The iconic British motorcycle manufacturer this week unveiled the Trekker GT e-bike, which boasts a 504Wh battery that delivers a range of roughly 150km per charge. E-scooters, which are seen as more inclusive than e-bikes because they do not require pedalling, are technically illegal in the UK.
