Qingshui geothermal power plant, Taiwan hits 38m-kWh milestone

The operators of the Qingshui geothermal power plant in Yilan County, Taiwan, have announced that the project has now produced more than 38 million kWh of electricity as of the end of July 2023 since i ts opening in October 2021. The reservoir temperature is around 180 degrees Celsius at a depth from 1,200 to 2,100 meters.

Veitur to evaluate geothermal heating in Álftanes, Iceland
