The IPCC recently conducted a study into the combined effects of all the agreed targets of the countries taking part in the ongoing COP talks. I wouldn’t be as impolite, of course, as to call what’s coming at COP26 an ‘ avalanche of climate b t ’, but here’s how I would put it. We can’t solve a problem within the system that caused it.
