A pilot plant on the University of Bath campus is said to be able to recycle up to 60% of plastic lab waste, to make back into new lab consumables. After decontamination, the plastic is turned into high grade pellets the size of rice grains, which are sent to LabCycle’s manufacturing partner to turn into new lab equipment.

Nearly half of all businesses (46%) across the UK have ‘recycling food waste’ at the top of their priorities to reduce their organisation’s carbon footprint, according to new research. switching to electric vehicles, (16%) or decreasing use paper and print materials, (10%) when it comes to its green agenda.
