BNEF: Fossil fuel car sales have likely peaked leaving EVs in pole position for recovery race

In its latest forecast today, BNEF said fossil fuel car sales likely already peaked in 2017. Elsewhere, the report also examines prospects for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, which it expects to account for 3.9 per cent of municipal bus sales around the world by 2040, with higher shares expected in East Asia and parts of Europe.
