The school just unveiled a 35-acre athletic center on native meadows whose plants were selected for their ability to attract pollinators and restore biodiversity. Thompson Rivers is working to replace all its natural gas boilers with electric ones, which should render the whole university carbon-neutral (sans offsets!)
