Aviation emissions were down a whopping 60 per cent in 2020, shipping emissions down 24 per cent, and road transport emissions fell 18 per cent. At COP I'm quite sure that as a country we'll be saying to people 'when you sign up to things, you've got to deliver'. So the government is playing a pretty high stakes game here.
