Summary -In September 2020, ice volume in the Arctic Ocean was just one quarter of what it was in 1979. After 2020 however, in which the Arctic was literally on fire , it felt to me like we had only have a few years left until the first ice-free summer can be declared in the Arctic. And we are dangerously close.
