After earning her degree, she led programs to help Foodstuffs, one of New Zealand’s largest supermarket chains, separate its food waste for use in upcycled products. Green Building Council still makes time to volunteer at STEM workshops for youth and was involved with a nonprofit nudging Oakland middle schoolers into the outdoors.
