If you plant trees on marginal land, grow them, harvest them, and then replant them — you can actually improve the soil quality of that marginal land over time. More wood grew on our farm than we ever harvested, so it’s ridiculous to suggest that wood can’t provide sustainable energy. I grew up on a small farm in Oklahoma.
