The Mexican Geothermal Association (AGM) announces its XXX Annual Congress to take place on May 23 and 24, 2024 in the city of Morelia, Michoacán.
The first circular of the XXX Annual Geothermal Congress 2024 has been issued by the Mexican Geothermal Association (AGM), providing details on dates, location and preliminary program of the event.
The event is scheduled to take place from May 22 to 24, 2024, at the Holiday Inn Hotel, located at Periférico Paseo de la República Sector Nueva España 3466, Col. Ejidal Ocolusen, 58295, Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico.
Featured Preliminary Program
The congress will begin on Wednesday, May 22, with a Pre-Congress Technical Workshop focused on the topic “Integration of Geothermal Projects: Challenges and Trends.” This workshop will provide a valuable opportunity to address current challenges and emerging trends in the field of geothermal energy, through presentations and discussions led by experts in the field.
On Thursday, May 23, the main event will begin with an opening ceremony followed by guest lectures and technical presentations. In addition, the prestigious 2024 Pathé Award will be presented, which recognizes excellence in geothermal research and practice.
On Friday, May 24, the presentation of more technical presentations will continue, followed by the closing of the event and the XXX Annual General Assembly of the AGM, aimed exclusively at the members of the association.
Registration and Costs
Registration for the congress is open, with a general fee of $3,800 pesos. Discounts are offered for members of the Mexican Geothermal Association, AC, and accredited students. In addition, discounts apply for early registration and for the Pre-Congress Technical Workshop.
