After its success in recent years, IGC Invest is back in Frankfurt, Germany on 25-26 June 2024 to address financial challenges and opportunities in geothermal.
When talking to project participants in the geothermal energy sector, there is one topic in particular that cannot be avoided: financing.
This is why we are looking forward to once again discussing current funding and financing options at the fifth International Geothermal Investment Conference (IGC Invest) from 25 to 26 June 2024. To this end, we are inviting you to the heart of the German financial sector at the premises of our sponsor Hogan Lovells in Frankfurt am Main.

In 2024, the “International Geothermal Investment Conference” (IGC Invest) will once again be dedicated to current financial challenges and opportunities in the geothermal industry. In addition to an insight into upcoming geothermal projects, various ongoing cooperation models, e.g. between investors and municipal utilities or local authorities, will be
presented on the first day of the event (25 June). This will be followed on 26 June by the perspectives of banks and investors as well as presentations on risk hedging. Voluntary certificate trading and the EU taxonomy will also be presented with a view to European subsidies.
For the first time, IGC Invest is also offering an upstream geothermal crash course for non-specialist participants. There will also be an opportunity for personal exchange, and 25 June will end with a joint evening event, the Icebreaker.
