About the webinar

Unlocking the full potential of geothermal energy is crucial for sustainable power generation. However, fluctuations in heat demand often leave significant portions of this valuable resource untapped. Modular ORC-solutions hold the key to unlocking the full potential of geothermal energy.

By seamlessly converting excess heat into electricity, they ensure optimal utilization of geothermal energy. Leveraging Orcan’s proven technologies, we’re revolutionizing energy production by harnessing formerly overlooked heat sources worldwide, paving the way for a cleaner, more efficient future.

Hermann Röhm acts as Global Head of Power Applications at ORCAN ENERGY AG. He earlier worked for MTU Friedrichshafen in various leading management positions for over 20 years, including six years as Head of Sales for Asia/Pacific. He then worked with GENERAC / PRAMAC as General Manager Asia/Pacific for two years.

Hermann is an expert in Power Applications globally. For many years, he managed international teams within the Power community with a special focus on APAC and Middle East. He lived for more than eight years in the APAC region and developed specifically markets like China, India, and Southeast Asia within the Diesel and Gas Genset sector.

Hermann’s mission is the use of geothermal or any waste heat to produce green electricity, increase efficiency, and simultaneously reduce CO2 emissions.
