- Form Energy raised a $450M Series E for its cost-effective, multi-day energy-storage systems.
- American Battery Technology Company was awarded a $57M Department of Energy grant to build a $115M, first-of-kind commercial-scale facility to manufacture battery-grade lithium hydroxide from Nevada-based sedimentary resources.
- LineVision, which provides overhead line monitoring for electric utilities, raised a $33M Series C.
- Greentown alum Seasats received a $10M investment from L3Harris Technologies, where the startup’s autonomous ocean vehicles will pair with cutting-edge products from L3Harris to create innovative maritime solutions.
- e-Zinc, a Greentown Go alum, secured a $7M venture debt facility with Greentown partner Silicon Valley Bank.
- Raise Green, a marketplace for impact investing in climate solutions, closed a $1.2M seed round.
- Veloce Energy closed its seed round, with an investment from Ecliptic Capital.
Partnerships + Deployments
- Fervo Energy executed a PPA to provide 24/7 carbon-free geothermal electricity to 3 million customers in Southern California.
- LineVision announced major projects with Greentown’s partner National Grid in New York and the United Kingdom—two projects that will create enough additional capacity to power 600,000 households while saving hundreds of MW in curtailments.
- Syzygy Plasmonics launched CarbonModel.com, an online tool that organizations can use to calculate the carbon intensity of hydrogen and levelized cost of production.
- AIR COMPANY, a Carbon to Value Initiative Year 1 participant, announced a new partnership with JetBlue. The airline will purchase 25 million gallons of AIRMADE sustainable aviation fuel over five years, with a targeted start in 2027.
- SWTCH Energy is launching a vehicle-to-grid pilot with Kite Mobility at a new residential building owned by Tridel.
- Next Rung Technology entered a strategic three-year partnership with C-Green to help deploy C-Green’s solution for sustainable handling of wet organic waste.
- Greentown alum ZwitterCo announced a channel partnership with Digested Organics to provide solutions to challenges in the digestate market.
- Pressure Corp is fundraising on fellow Greentown member Raise Green’s platform. Raise Green also recently launched fundraising partnerships with Mana Pacific and Connecticut Green Bank.
- Patch, a Carbon to Value Initiative Year 1 participant, launched Patch Offtake—a multi-year carbon credit pre-purchase agreement that provides companies with a pathway to support and scale a portfolio of vital frontier climate solutions.
- Greentown Go alum Circularise announced a joint project with LyondellBasell on Digital Product Passports, in collaboration with value chain partners Neste, QCP, Uponor, and Samsonite.
- Our member Boxes is piloting its refilling and dispensing technology on-site at Greentown Houston.
- AquaNRG launched ccus.ai, the reference website for its offerings in carbon capture, utilization, and storage.

- Greentown Go alum Salient Energy’s tech passed UL testing standards—the first zinc-ion cell to do so.
- An independent study verified that Nth Cycle’s mineral refining and recycling tech reduces refining emissions by 92 percent over traditional processes. The company was also named to HolonIQ’s list of the 200 most promising climatetech startups from North America.
- The CEO of INOVUES, a Greentown Go alum, was named to a list of the 25 Top CEOs in the Green Building Space by CEO Boardroom Media.
- Greentown members and alumni Conduit Tech, Mantel, Mars Materials, and CERT Systems were selected for the new Breakthrough Energy Fellows cohort.
- Peak Power was voted one of the most promising ventures and technologies to tackle decarbonization in Japanese markets.
- Katz Water Technologies received three additional patents for its water purification and desalination tech.
- Kanin Energy CEO Janice Tran was selected for the 2022 Mária Telkes Fellowship Cohort.
