Most people may not know this, but electric vehicles have been around almost as long as gas-fueled ones. Due to battery efficiency and availability, they have just been more difficult to make available to the general public. More recently, electricity is more easily accessible on the road because of innovations and larger ion batteries in cars. Here is a list of some of the best electric vehicles.

Honda Accord Hybrid

The Honda Accord is one of the best-selling cars in the United States. The hybrid version can be driven an extra fourteen miles per gallon compared to the non-hybrid version. It will cost you up to twenty-five thousand dollars more, however. Vehicle makers and sellers can purchase fleet tracking systems to keep up with all of their vehicle’s highest and average speeds, locations, mileage, GPS usage, and driver behaviors. This research allows for them to meet their target audience’s needs and preferences.

Tesla Model 3 Long Range

This midsize sedan was originally supposed to be $35,000 and under, but it is now for sale for $39,500. It is supposed to be affordable and available to middle-class Americans. The cost to drive it a year is around five hundred dollars. It is said to drive for around 130 miles per gallon. However, consumers must pay around $10,000 more for a long-range battery. There are tax credits available for owners of this vehicle as an incentive to be kinder to the environment.

BMW i3

This electric car is a little bit sportier than other models but is less fuel-efficient. Some people say it is more eye-catching than some sustainable vehicles and that it is attractive for that reason. It is considered a subcompact car, so it is very small, but it has a very sleek interior. The BMW i3 is more expensive than the Tesla and will cost you around $45,000 and does not drive as far as other electric cars on a full charge. It is said to drive around 150 miles on a full battery. This price is before any state or federal tax credits, but the car remains popular.

Volkswagen e-Golf

This car is said to drive just as well as the regular Volkswagen Golf. However, the electric version costs around the middle price range for electric cars, listed around $32,000. It qualifies for tax credits just like other electric vehicles.

This green vehicle does not drive as far on a full battery as Tesla or Chevrolet models, going for about 125 miles on a full charge. It is said to be very fun to drive as it features a hatchback and other stylish features. The Volkswagen e-Golf newer models improve over time with increased drive range.

Hyundai Ioniq Electric

This fully electric vehicle tops the charts for fuel efficiency with a stunning 136 miles per gallon electric. The Hyundai Ioniq is one of the larger electric vehicles on the market, with plenty of storage space available. When the car is in sports mode, it has quite a lot of power.

This vehicle is less expensive than its competitors, listed for around $30,000, which is a bargain with all of the features it includes. It has a large touch screen display and high-end trimmings. The Ioniq also comes with a wonderful warranty, which may be a huge plus for the cost-conscious consumer.

Chevrolet Bolt EV

General Motors is widely known for its large SUVs and trucks. But the Bolt EV is a popular vehicle for the brand. It is said to have many positive reviews for things like its spaciousness and handling ability.

The newer models have wireless phone capabilities and driver information centers that report on driving history and mileage. The Bolt EV is very affordable for many Americans, as the price is around $36,00 before any tax credits. It drives around 238 miles on a full battery, making it a great choice in the electric vehicle arena.
