Would this be niche for the applications where the heated wastewater happened to be near enough, or is it prevalent enough and in the type of quantity needed that any such greenhouse could take advantage?

Hi Matt, the answer is what Real Estate agents always say "Location Location Location". If there are greenhouses already in operation and they want to reduce their energy impacts (financially and/or environmentally) then they should investigate whether there is a flow of wastewater nearby.

If someone is planning to construct new glasshouses and they are looking for a good site, I would strongly suggest looking for somewhere close to the local wastewater treatment plant or somewhere along a trunk sewer.

Then it works because either way, the supply and the demand are close to each other.
