So how much do these trains cost to build and run?
Vastly more cost effective to simply rely on electric (preferably) and diesel. The added expense of the hydrogen fuel cells is not remotely cost effective, with the environmental benefits insignificant. Whole affair is no doubt heavily subsidized and yet another waste of taxpayer money.
