The Clean Energy Business Network joined partners in urging Congressional leadership to protect the federal investments that have been made in clean energy, clean transportation, and energy efficiency through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). As negotiations have continued on strategies to address the nation’s debt ceiling and government spending, hundreds of business leaders weighed in urging Congress to reject efforts to repeal these clean energy investments.

  • CEBN mobilized CEO signatures onto a business sign-on letter organized by Climate Power urging Congress to protect these investments (letter delivered May 16, 2023; coverage in Politico).
  • CEBN also joined our parent organization, the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE) and CEBN, in urging Congressional leaders to protect these clean energy investments (letter delivered May 12, 2023; press release).
