Upcoming Book Publication in Climate Fiction
ANNOUNCEMENT: For just over three years now I have been working on three manuscripts, named CLIMATE DRAGON and CLOUD DRAGON and FLAMING DRAGON, in the genre of climate fiction, a genre which came into its own in about 2005. Kim Stanley Robinson is considered by many to be the dean of this field, with works such as TheMinistry of the Future. I think what makes my three compositions distinct is that all three are preapocalyptic and optimistic, rather than postapocalyptic and pessimistic.
Now I am happy to report CLIMATE DRAGON is finally going to be published by Sidekick Press, with a release date toward the end of December. There will be both a paperback and an e-book, and I am beginning to contemplate an audiobook as well. As you can see, I have decided on the apricot version for the cover design, by Bob Paltrow. Recently I had the great experience of a jacket photo shoot with Cheryl Crooks. So, here is my question for you: Which photo should I choose, glasses high on my nose or lower down? [This is me, trying to look intellectual].
Periodically over the next five months I will release further information.
