Here is some potentially good news on the nuclear front... could contribute to some decent growth in WW nuclear generation post 2030.

As usual with nuclear the positive news come with some negative points.

1) These reactors were approved in 2017 yet construction won't start till 2023.

The Centre had approved construction of 10 indigenously developed pressurised heavy water reactors (PHWR) of 700 MW each in June 2017.

2) India had a reactor come online in Jan of last year but that reactor is still not contributing to grid?

One 700 MW reactor at Kakrapar in Gujarat was connected to the grid on January 10 last year, but it is yet to start commercial operations.
