Everyone loves a TEDTalk. Here is one of our favorites:
Join Arctic ecologist Sue Natali as she examines how the melting of the Artic permafrost will impact climate change. Natali throws light on a subject that has been long overlooked, revealing how truly dangerous it is that the iciest place on the planet is continuing to heat up. Natali, who studies permafrost thaw and actively works to limit global harm from Artic warming, is bringing to light the way ancient ice melting actually dramatically increases our climate crisis by releasing ancient carbon into the air.
In her talk, Natali also discusses Permafrost Pathways, an initiative supported by the Audacious Project, TED's initiative to inspire and fund global change. This project focuses on measuring permafrost carbon emissions, fusing Indigenous solutions with modern technologies, and protecting the rights of Arctic residents.
