The February 4, 2022 Guidance released by NIST contains very useful insights to help government agencies prepare for Executive Order 14028 implementations. The NIST documents contain the "what to implement" but leave the "how to implement" steps open to each organization to decide. This article advises software consumers and government agencies on the question of "how to" implement EO 14028, following NIST guidelines.
