Just a few days left to submit an entry for the UK's most prestigious green business awards and be in with a chance of attending this year's gala awards ceremony

Green businesses, sustainability executive, campaigners, and entrepreneurs have just a few days left to submit their entry for this year's BusinessGreen Leaders Awards and be in with a chance of becoming a finalist at the UK's most high profile sustainable business awards.

Now in their 11th year, the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards 2021 are set to take place at a central London venue on the evening of September 22nd - coronavirus restrictions allowing - and will bring together hundreds of the UK's top green business leaders to celebrate one of the most challenging and eventful years in history.

Throughout the pandemic, the green economy has demonstrated both its huge resilience and its critical role at the heart of the transition to a net zero emission economy which is set to dominate the next three decades. As such, the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards will provide a unique and invaluable opportunity to showcase the many pioneering businesses, projects, and individuals that are absolutely critical to the UK's future health and prosperity.

The awards will also form part of this year's Net Zero Festival, which will bring together thousands of top business leaders, policymakers, investors, and campaigners from around the world to explore how to accelerate the global net zero transition and seize the opportunities offered by deep decarbonisation.

The BusinessGreen Leaders Awards are free to enter, but in order to ensure we can stage the gala event all shortlisted finalists are required to book their attendance, either physically or virtually, at the awards ceremony.

Interested parties now have until 5pm on Friday 11th June to submit their entries.

"For over a decade the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards have been a wonderful celebration of the green economy and its myriad strengths," said BusinessGreen editor James Murray. "After a year when the awards were forced online and following months of huge disruption for many of our readers, we're delighted to be able to try and bring people together once again to showcase the best of a sector that continue to go from strength to strength. We'd love to hear from as many businesses as possible on the inspiring work they are doing to embrace greener practices and accelerate the net zero transition."
