Waste to Energy plants are now becomming common-place with maturing technology, so it's nice to see another circular economy initiative, that of Waste to Fuels.
Waste, otherwise destined for incineration or, even worse, landfil, will now become the feedstock for aviation fuel for the UK's third largest aviation company.
Good to see that the commericals back up the technology.

This sounds pomising. We will see how it develops.

Did you know small aircraft still us leaded fuel? We have taken it our of land vehicle gas but not aviation fuel for small planes. We even took it out of paint but not vehicle starter batteries. A few companies like Tesla have removed lead 12v batteries and use a lithium 16 v battery.soon they and other are going to a 48 v starter systen and battery.

Lead is one of the worst pollutants per a popular science areticle a few years back.

Your comments are interesting. Unfortunately I think lead polution has left the agenda many years ago and doesn't feature directly with net zero/ sustainability. General global pollution is going to be a harder nut to crack than net zero, I fear!
