Africa can become a major renewable energy and hydrogen player and, pipelines permitting a hydrogen energy exporter.

On the 25th of May, launching the second event in Paris, with relevant speakers from Africa and Europe sharing guidelines and insights to promote green hydrogen in Africa.

 

 

Expanding hydrogen production is likely to be one of the biggest industrial tasks of the coming decades. The market for green hydrogen, made from renewable energy, is expected to be worth $9.8 billion by 2028. In Hydrogen-Africa Events’ latest report, we highlight the progress made so far towards a clean hydrogen economy, with executive analysis from hydrogen 2022, together with our partner Charley Rattan Associate.

By 2035, more than 50Mt / year of cost-competitive green hydrogen can be produced to meet local demand, grow the domestic economy, support local communities, and export to major international off-takers as hydrogen reshapes global energy integration.
