McLaren Formula E Racing

So let’s talk McLaren Formula E. For now Formula E is the premier electric racing championship. I once attended a Formula E event in Brooklyn, New York. That’s another story. However, Formula E is gaining significant traction. Especially as more companies join the movement toward sustainability and electrification. Now my great friends Merchants Fleet; the nation’s fastest-growing fleet management company joined in. For they are going all in on its commitment to these initiatives. That’s through an expanded partnership with McLaren Formula E Racing. This collaboration will see Merchants Fleet become an Official Partner of the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team for Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. This is totally an amazing announcement because Formula E I believe is the future of Formula racing.

Driving Sustainability and Diversity

The partnership between Merchants Fleet and McLaren Racing highlights their joint dedication to the following initiatives:

1. Sustainability

2. Electrification

3. Diversity

4. Equity

5. and inclusion (DE&I).

Brendan P. Keegan, Chairman, CEO, and President of Merchants Fleet, expressed excitement over the alliance, stating, “This exciting partnership underscores our joint commitment to sustainability through electrification and our deep dedication to DE&I. We are excited to showcase how a partnership based on the genuine alignment of values has the potential to drive awareness for these important issues on a global scale.”

Formula E and Extreme E Collaboration

Merchants Fleet’s partnership with McLaren Racing extends beyond Formula E. The company will also continue as an Official Partner of the NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team. This is for the Extreme E series. Now the Extreme E series is an all-electric, off-road international racing event. One that provides the world’s first gender-equal motorsport platform. This platform focuses on highlighting the impact of climate change in remote environments worldwide.

Under the expanded agreement, Merchants Fleet branding will be prominently displayed on the NEOM McLaren Extreme E race car and the race suits of the drivers. This visibility ensures that the partnership will reach a global audience passionate about sustainable practices and electric vehicles.

Fast & Fearless: Accelerating Leadership

In addition to their collaboration on the racing circuit, Brendan P. Keegan and McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown have joined forces on a regular podcast series called “Fast & Fearless: Accelerating Leadership.” This podcast delves into the tools of leadership, growth, and business, providing valuable insights for professionals across various industries.
