US motor giant Ford almost doubles its EV investment plans, while Porsche says 80 per cent of its vehicles sold will be electric in 2030, as European EV market accelerates. US motor giant Ford last week announced plans to invest $22bn in EVs and a further $7bn in autonomous vehicles through to 2025, nearly doubling its previous commitment.
