Speed through regulatory challenges of connecting EVs and EVSE to the grid (Webinar)

The addition of vehicle-to-grid (V2G) to the EV market adds an extra layer of complexity to the already diverse and constantly evolving global compliance requirements/standards for vehicle-grid integration (VGI). For example, OEMs in addition to complying with EV charging standards, now need to ensure compliance for connection and compatibility with local grids.

This free webinar presented by Keysight at our Spring Virtual Conference (April 17-20, 2023) will explore the associated design and test challenges and ways to solve them.

Meeting New Requirements For High Voltage EV Charging Coupler

EV charging infrastructure continues to experience rapid growth with a significant portion being faster and higher power DC charging devices. With faster charging comes the demand for higher operational cycles for all components within the charging device. Designers and manufacturers are evaluating and improving the ruggedization of every component including controls, electronic assemblies, cables, and couplers. In particular, the coupler connector will benefit from materials which can withstand high wear cycles in exposed environments over the operational lifetime of the charging device.

This webinar, presented by Umicore Galvanotechnik GmbH, will introduce and describe a new low-friction, high-wear, silver composite material for coupler connectors.
