As one of the world’s leading industrial gases and engineering companies, Linde covers the full spectrum of the hydrogen value chain. Recently, the company has ordered four of Enapter’s AEM EL 4 electrolysers in order to run trials and performance tests for various end uses at a hydrogen production facility in Mexico.

Linde also included our water tank module to make water treatment as easy as possible, as well as the dryer to produce hydrogen at 99.999% purity – ready to use in any kind of application.

The final H2 projects span across multiple geographies including Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Colombia, in applications ranging from mobility to heat treatment, ammonia production and natural gas blending. Their plan is to reduce over 4,100 tons of CO2 per year.

Furthermore, Enapter’s newly created projects team will provide consulting services to guarantee the seamless implementation of the purchased equipment.

The cooperation project recently received the Low Carbon Business Action’s LCBA Seal, an insignia which certifies that a specific project has fulfilled all the sustainability conditions assessed throughout the program.

The Low Carbon and Circular Economy Business Action (LCBA) in Mexico is an EU-funded initiative that aims to facilitate the commercialisation of green low-carbon technologies and circular economy solutions of European small and medium-sized enterprises and small mid-caps in Mexico. The LCBA also supported with the acceleration of this joint project.

This partnership project is another good example of how you can quickly start piloting a hydrogen system to significantly scale up in a second step.
