Discover the power of the sun when you make this simple, solar oven and cook s’mores at this free, virtual Family Fun Night.
The Kansas City Plaza Library will host an online demonstration from 6:30 – 7 p.m. on Friday, August 14. It’s geared for ages 7 to 12, but adults and families are encouraged to tune in.
Here are the materials you’ll need:
- Pizza box, any size
- Ruler
- Pencil or marker
- Scissors
- Aluminum foil
- Plastic wrap
- Wooden skewer or straw
- Clear tape
- Glue
- Black paper
- Ingredients for s’mores (graham crackers, chocolate bars, marshmallows)
