The Climate 4.0 Economy

Climate change is here. We see it in many ways already. Weather catastrophes: Texas freezing over, the wildfires of California, the increasingly unpredictable violence and frequency of hurricanes, the rapid melting and disappearance of polar ice caps. Much more evidence all around us. What can we do in our corporate organizations, in our homes and communities, to change the current course?

The Carbon Zero, Circular and Regenerative Economy, is easily the most profoundly important possibility resulting from Digital Transformation. Industry 4.0 has a massively cumulative impact on dematerialization (in all forms) and resultant decarbonization (both from emissions and that embodied in materials, building, and products) throughout the economy. Join panelists Bruce Armstrong Taylor, Jimmy Jia, Fabienne Durand, and their moderator Roger Strukhoff as they discuss how bending the carbon/GHG heavy linear economy to the circular is one of the hidden benefits of digital disruption.

In this session, you will take away a better understanding of these questions:

  • How does this happen?
  • How fast and at what scale can the Linear Economy curve be bent toward the Circular?
  • What will be needed from governments at all levels globally in terms of carrots and sticks?
  • What will be needed on the corporate policy and governance side to drive this?

This is a panel discussion you won't want to miss!
