ABB is an EVSE powerhouse—it claims to have some 400,000 EV chargers installed in 85 global markets. The newest version of its Terra HP fast charger adds several new features and customization options.

ABB’s new 350 kW Terra HP Generation III is “ideal for highway corridor charging and EV fleets.” It’s designed to deliver high power output in a compact footprint at low noise levels. It features a 5.3-meter retractable charging cable, a 15-inch touchscreen display, LED strips to improve nighttime visibility, and multiple payment options.

Operators will have expanded branding options, including the ability to customize the Terra HP’s wrapping, select a matching color for the LED strips, and tailor the user interface to match brand identity.

The Terra HP is designed for commercial operations. It supports dynamic DC power sharing, remote software upgrades, and a wide range of output voltage and power levels (150 to 920 VDC and up to 350 kW).

ABB’s Ability Connected Services offer remote monitoring and diagnostics, as well as the ability to connect chargers to back offices, payment platforms or smart-grid systems.
