Nonprofit Announces First-Ever EV Raffle with Free Lifetime Charging
A leading nonprofit group has announced the first-ever EV raffle where the winner will receive a free electric vehicle AND $10,000 worth of free charging. The novel fundraiser helps fight climate change while fulfilling every driver’s ultimate dream: cost-free lifetime powering of that special household car.
It’s part of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) Action Fund’s 5th annual electric car raffle to raise money for the fight against climate change. This year, they’re offering a Tesla Model X Plaid, or a Rivian truck or SUV, plus $10,000 for charging—more than enough to last the lifetime of the vehicle. Even better, state and federal prize taxes are also covered. That’s a total prize value over $150,000.
