Tens of Thousands Throng Streets of Glasgow Demanding Climate Justice

GLASGOW, SCOTLAND — Thousands of protestors marched through Glasgow today to demand action from world leaders and polluting companies, as the COP26 UN climate summit moves into its second week. Indigenous groups were front and centre of the demonstration, with one protestor calling them the “first true climate leaders”. Organisers say over 100,000 people joined the protests, with 300 other demonstrations taking place around the world.
