Hyliion claims 1,000 pre-orders for its CNG hybrid Class 8 truck

Hyliion, a developer of electrified powertrain solutions for Class 8 commercial vehicles, has launched a new natural-gas series-hybrid electric powertrain. The Hypertruck Electric Range Extender (ERX) combines an electric drivetrain with a natural gas-powered onboard generator. It delivers 25 miles of electric range.
