Mercedes-Benz plans to launch a DC fast charging network across North America, Europe, China and “other key markets.” It will begin this year in the US and Canada, and hopes to have the full network in place before the end of the decade, when the automaker means to go all-electric “wherever market conditions allow.”. Recently, some brands have announced vast new “networks” that in fact consist merely of roaming agreements that allow drivers to use existing public chargers.
