Legacy EV to offer Revolt Systems’ high-performance electric motors for EV conversions

Revolt Systems manufactures high-performance electric motors for classic cars, and Legacy EV offers integrated EV systems and EV conversion kits from various manufacturers, as well as certified EV technician training programs and EV design consulting services.

Over the last year, Legacy EV and Revolt Systems have been working together to help more classic car owners make the transition to electric power, while increasing performance. Now, Revolt Systems will exclusively offer its high-performance, American-made motors through Legacy EV. (Legacy EV will remain product-agnostic, also offering motors from other manufacturers.)

We usually excise self-congratulatory adjectives from press releases, but when Revolt Systems calls its motors “high-performance,” it’s no idle boast. Revolt engineered a twin motor system that was used in the world’s fastest electric car—Team Vesco’s Little Giant, which set a new speed record of 354.8 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 2021.

“Classic car enthusiasts shouldn’t have to worry about losing performance when considering converting their vehicle to electric power,” said Revolt founder and CEO Eddy Borysewicz. “Now, we are making it more possible than ever to convert these vehicles, without losing performance.”

“As Revolt System’s sole trusted source to distribute the fastest electric motor in the world, this partnership will enable the best EV conversions on the market,” said Legacy EV CEO and co-founder Rob Ward.
