LG Chem, a South Korean company has announced its plans to build the largest EV battery cathode manufacturing plant in the U.S. The one-of-a-kind facility will be located in Clarksville, Tennessee with construction set to start in 2023.

Revel has secured $50 million in debt financing from BlackRock Alternatives, which it will use to grow its network of public EV fast-charging Superhubs in urban areas across the country. Revel opened its flagship Superhub in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn in 2021, and the company plans to open additional sites in major US cities in 2023. All of Revel’s upcoming Superhubs will support charging speeds of at least 150 kW.
