Whitson Contracting & Management

Whitson CM was formed in 2002 when it signed a construction management agreement to construct $65 million in roadway and heavy civil projects in San Diego, CA. Three of those projects under the construction management agreement were Caltrans’ permit projects along the Interstate 15 in Rancho Bernardo, CA. For each project under the construction management agreement, Whitson CM acted as the owner’s agent and the agent of the district and/or municipality. Whitson CM represented the interests of all of the project’s customers; the owner, Caltrans, the municipality, the contractor(s), the sub-consultants (geotechnical engineers, special inspectors, etc.) and the public.
