  • Ghenus Air Secures Position as Launch Customer with Pre-Order of 10 Lyte Aviation Aircraft

Lyte Aviation is revolutionizing the eVTOL (electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing) sector with its latest offering, the LA-44 X Prime, a VIP version of its high-capacity hybrid aircraft. This strategic move has already attracted significant attention, with a notable pre-order of ten aircraft by the US-based operator Ghenus Air. Alongside the SkyBus, Lyte Aviation’s LA-44 X Prime is set to redefine regional air travel through its blend of luxury, high capacity, and sustainability.

Innovating Urban Air Mobility

Lyte Aviation’s lineup, including the SkyBus, SkyTruck, and the LA-44 X Prime, signifies a transformative phase in eVTOL industry dynamics. The company’s aircraft are engineered for remarkable capacity and efficiency, with the SkyBus capable of transporting 40 passengers or handling 4.5 tons of cargo. The LA-44 X Prime, catering to the premium market segment, offers 19 seats of luxury air travel. Despite being in the conceptual stage, the SkyBus model has already secured 20 confirmed pre-orders, indicating a robust market demand.

A Sustainable Aviation Vision

At the heart of Lyte Aviation’s innovation is a commitment to eco-friendly propulsion. The aircraft’s hybrid system integrates hydrogen fuel cells with turbines capable of utilizing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), heralding a new era for environmentally conscious aviation. The company envisions leveraging underutilized regional airports to support its 40-seat eVTOLs, promoting a future where urban air mobility is synonymous with sustainability. With the first full-scale SkyBus prototype expected in the next two years, Lyte Aviation is on a clear path to achieving its green aviation goals.

Expanding Market Reach and Garnering Pre-Orders

Ghenus Air’s substantial pre-order underscores the expanding interest and potential within the eVTOL market. Focusing on serving corporate executives and small-group tourists in locales such as Los Angeles and Seoul, Ghenus Air is strategically positioning itself within the Korean and US Regional Air Mobility (RAM) markets. With projections indicating a total addressable market of up to $115 billion by 2035, the alliance between Lyte Aviation and Ghenus Air represents a well-calculated venture into a rapidly growing sector.
