Engineering for the Earth

Faculty at the University of Colorado’s engineering school, in partnership with graduate students and K-12 teachers have developed and classroom tested an online resource, the TeachEngineering collection, which showcases engineering in everyday life as the context for student learning. These materials, developed with support from the U.S. Department of Education and the National Science Foundation, meet Next Generation Science standards.

The curriculum unit, Engineering for the Earth, covers Earth systems through lessons on  natural resources, processes, weather, climate and landforms. These materials can be found here. This entry was posted in Uncategorized and tagged CurriculumEnvironmental LiteracyK-12. Bookmark the permalink.
