Autel Energy rolls out DC fast EV charging stations in Singapore

EV charging provider Autel Energy is rolling out new EV charging stations in Singapore. The company has installed chargers in Hup Hin and Gain City, and at the National University of Singapore. Another station at an industrial park in Gain City is to be unveiled soon.

All of the stations feature Autel’s MaxiCharger DC fast chargers.

The Hup Hin charging station is equipped with four MaxiCharger DC 240 kW and twenty DC 120 kW chargers, primarily for electric buses and trucks. The National University site has one 240 kW, one 120 kW and two 60 kW units, and these are “mainly for e-bus drivers.” The two stations in Gain City are each equipped with two 120 kW chargers.

Autel’s 60-240 kW MaxiCharger DC Fast series can provide up to 400 A of current. Each charger features an advertising and communication screen that can provide additional revenue streams for businesses, while also offering charging-related information to users.

Autel Energy hopes to roll out more EV charging stations in the region, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

“We are excited to bring our MaxiCharger DC Fast technology to Singapore,” said Henry He, Autel’s Director for the Asia/Pacific and Australia regions. “Our charging stations offer faster and more efficient charging for EV drivers while supporting APP, RFID card, credit card and mobile payments.”
