Hardware and software solution provider i-charging has announced that its blueberry line of fast chargers has completed CE certification. This certification, which affirms a product’s conformity with European health, safety and environmental protection standards, is mandatory in many countries, so the third-party tests that i-charging has now completed were essential for it to begin installations.

The blueberry range is based on the company’s patented dynamicblue technology, which allows sequential and simultaneous charging, as well as an unlimited number of outputs, thanks to the dynamic allocation of energy to each output.

The chargers also include a new cable management system that allows the 4.7-meter cable to expand and retract as needed by the user.

blueberry chargers come equipped with a 32-inch screen that allows user interaction, as well as presentation of promotional videos or other multimedia content. The blueberry app allows users to configure various parameters, including the time of charge, the amount to spend, and the form of payment.

“i-charging has closed contracts in several countries for installations in the present year, so this certification is an important step in our journey,” said Pedro Moreira da Silva, CEO of i-charging. “Some of the closed contracts include North America, so UL certification is also already ongoing.”
