EV charging equipment manufacturer Chaevi has announced the availability of its new all-in-one DC EV charger, which delivers a blazing 400 kW of power, for the North American market. This speed demon is expected to be fully NEVI-compliant by Q2 2024, and is available for pre-order now.

This DC fast charger provides simultaneous charging from two ports, which can be equipped with CCS1 and/or NACS connector configurations. It features liquid-cooled cables and a maximum current of 500 amps. Chaevi says the all-in-one design enables deployment in smaller spaces with lower installation costs than other fast charging solutions that require separate power cabinets and dispensers.

The new charger supports OCPP 1.6 and 2.0.1, and is Plug & Charge ISO 15118-compliant. It’s equipped with a 15-inch LCD high-contrast touchscreen. All Chaevi’s fast chargers offer multiple payment options (including RFID, credit cards and an app).
